What are Scarecrow supplements?
They are dietary supplements in tablet, granule and liquid form, made with the health of dogs, cats and other pets in mind. In Japan they are sold through veterinary clinics, pet salons and our official online shop.
What kind of pets are they good for?
They are used by 3,000 veterinary clinics in Japan to help maintain the health of dogs, cats and other pets, and are increasingly used by veterinary clinics outside Japan as well.
How much should I give per day?
The right amount varies by product and by your pet's health. Please feel free to ask us for details.
What is the easiest way to give a supplement?
Most dogs, cats and other pets will eat our tablets as they are. If your pet will not, try mixing them into something like corned beef.
Can I buy them at pet shops or pharmacies?
In Japan, they are sold by mail order, at some pet shops and at partner veterinary clinics. Outside Japan, availability varies by country, so please contact us to find a distributor near you.
Can they be used during cancer treatment?
Our supplements are not intended to treat any condition. They are dietary supplements intended to help maintain health. If your pet is undergoing treatment for cancer or any other condition, please do not decide on your own; always consult your veterinarian first.
Can they be given together with medication?
Whether they can be combined with medication depends on your pet's condition. Please do not stop or change any medication on your own, and always consult your veterinarian. We also recommend checking before combining them with other supplements.
Can I crush the tablets?
If your pet really cannot swallow them, you can crush them with a pill crusher or similar. Because the ingredients oxidize once crushed, please use them promptly.
